Europe's electricity system is changing rapidly and often in places that don't make the headlines.

Look at Estonia - not that long ago and fossil fuels dominated around 90% of electricity generation.

Today solar and wind eat more and more into the share of fossil fuel-generated electricity.

If anyone cares at all, EV battery recycling is now hitting 99% recovery for important metals

Please remind me again what the recycle rate for fossil fuels is

New recycling tech recovers nearly pure nickel and cobalt from old EV batteries
Researchers have developed an eco-friendly recycling tech that extracts 99 percent pure nickel and cobalt from waste batteries.

I’m surprised to learn there are still people around who don’t believe in recycling. They want to throw everything out.

Where actually is ‘out’?

Meanwhile, the Australian Liberal party absolutely won’t shut up about “the cost of net zero”.

No way in hell it’s going to compete with the cost of inaction. What utter nonsense.

They really don’t think we can read the news lol

The Liberal and business way. Blame the employees for the lack of leadership and investment in business that really does affect productivity.
The business I work in is a great example of this. Lack of maintenance, lack of turnover of stock and lack of investment in new technologies.

As a former prosecutor, I know a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich. The grand jury’s refusal today to indict Letitia James shows this case should never have been brought.

When we flip the House, we will investigate everyone involved for abuse of power.

Sorry I’m ranting. How were Americans in imminent or immediate danger from those survivors of a remote operated drone attack? Feels like a Jack Nicholson moment.

140,000 homes are currently being left vacant in Australia. 32,000 homes in Melbourne alone!

Air BnB has 160,000 homes on its books.

There are thousands of developers land banking properties in our cities.

We could legislate the end of a housing crisis very quickly.

No easy fix but long term policies required. From density policy to tax.

If we truely want a better society we’d have a population that feels like its basic needs are safe.

Reality is neither Labor or Liberals want housing as a right.
Protecting the value of assets is their priority.
They have shown that repeatedly.
Their disdain for renters/homeless/working poor is palatable

If these data centre prices want to use OUR power they can either pay triple or generate their own RENEWABLE power. (excess into the grid FREE)
No COAL.
No GAS.
RENEWABLE.
Also set up and run their own renewable energy DESALINATION plants to provide water for their data centres.

This is especially disgusting considering the ENORMOUS PUBLIC RECORD of just what Trump and Epstein were up to in the summer of 1994. The NY media covered it all, in real time. And yet we still pretend this is some “mystery.” Read a book!
