I keep asking what Democrats are planning to do to stop him and all I get are crickets. Dems can make the GOP back down and reverse what RFK Jr. is doing if they made it a priority to do so.
Breaking news: Federal vaccine advisers selected by Health Secretary RFK Jr. are planning to vote on ending the practice of vaccinating all newborns for hepatitis B and to examine whether shots are behind the rise of allergies and autoimmune disorders.
RFK Jr.'s vaccine advisers plan biggest change yet to childhood schedule
The new chair of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices said the panel plans to vote to end universal hepatitis B vaccination at birth and to scrutinize if childhood shots cause allergies.

Trump’s new rules could throw 170,000 people back onto the streets, including tens of thousands in WA, by stripping $120M from proven homelessness programs. WA’s AG Nick Brown is saying hell no. He’s leading a multistate lawsuit to stop this reckless attack on Housing First.

This is the most important op-ed you'll read this week. The Trump administration is about to get rid of the birth-dose of hepatitis B vaccine. That is a deadly choice for many families. @helenouyang.bsky.social tells her story. Now call your member of Congress. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/01/o...

No war with Venezuela! It’s time we get vocal about this!
This is madness! The “no new wars” president is taking us to war with Venezuela.

Bombing ships in the Caribbean, as an ongoing operation, without congressional authorization, crosses the line into an unconstitutional use of military force.

Count us in the “love our heat pump” group. Much less expensive and we are warm in winter and can use it as AC on hot Seattle days. An Obama era energy efficiency program helped us transition from dirty, costly heating oil. I wish this for all.
"Adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and heat pumps collectively saved US households between $5.6 to $8.8 billion in 2023 alone."

"80% of users are satisfied with their heat pumps, and nearly 95% of EV owners are likely to consider purchasing another EV for their next vehicle."

What could be “great”about a country that does this to people.
Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

Do taxes in Washington feel unfair to you? Correct, they are. The solution is restructuring taxes for fairness so that all Washingtonians can have the services & systems they need.
Let's be clear about why our state is in a budget crisis.
