Ed Miliband was certainly very impressive on R4 just now. Particularly as he dealt very well with what I thought was a tough, but actually a good, interview by Nick Robinson.
Ed Miliband very impressive on ##R4today despite Nick Robinson's best efforts to derail him.

It's not just Labour advisers in London who need sacked.

I've called for Sarwar to put clear blue water between Scottish Labour and UK Labour, but *on policy* not via process stories and stunts.

The only way this would make sense is if Sarwar knows Starmer's going. But I strongly doubt he does.

The numbers paint a grim picture. Norway’s 88% collapse is particularly striking given it was one of Tesla’s few bright spots in 2025. The Netherlands (-67%) and UK (-57%) are experiencing similar freefall.

Europe does not need a double-hatted Superpresident, as proposed by Manfred Weber. A presidential system is alien to Europe. Instead we need a fully fledged parliamentary democracy, with full accountability and checks and balances. My blog:

I like to think I’m unshockable but these latest Mandelson/Epstein revelations are so dark. Fortunately Alistair Darling had too much integrity to be swayed by this macho crap.
New Epstein emails show Peter Mandelson secretly advising JPMorgan’s CEO on how to fight Labour’s 2009 bankers’ bonus tax - even suggesting he “mildly threaten” the Chancellor.

Mandelson was Business Secretary at the time.

A year later, he was seeking work with JPM.
