For every one of these Kafkaesque stories of inhumane cruelty i am guessing you can multiply by twenty the number of similar cases we don't hear about because the victim is not white, or fluent in English, or doesn't have advocates able and willing to go public

Something incredible is happening.

Passenger rail, the most sustainable form of long-distance travel, is coming back to #Canada.

We have 49,000 kms of tracks. But many of the 6.6M Canadians living in remote, rural settings have few transport options.
