He uses the expression "left wing fascism", which of course is an oxymoron: fascism is by definition right wing, since it's nationalistic.

WATCH THIS: The most amazing thing about this remarkable 2002 car commercial is that it didn’t seem to realize at the time, or perhaps didn’t care, how effectively it made the point that cars and car infrastructure are a HUGE waste of space in cities. Award-winning 2002 ad for Saturn car company.

Smart cities know that, as hot as they already are, they’re just going to keep getting hotter. Greening the city not only cools it down, it cleans the air, quiets the noise, improves mental health & happiness, saves public money, & more. Strand Aldwych, London. 2021 vs. 2025. Via @modacitylife.com

Every year, billions of vehicles worldwide shed an estimated 6 million tonnes of tire fragments. These tiny flakes of plastic, generated by normal driving, account for 28% of microplastics entering the environment globally.

Heavy vehicles eg SUVs/EVs especially.

And eveything else Thiel said aside, a bit of stagnation at this point doesn't sound so bad. A litte less change for a while would be a relief...

If more and more journalists would ask him things like this, he'd have to choose between cancelling all interactions with journalists (meaning less exposure for him), or just stick to the few vetted ones, which I think would not be accepted.
