#BREAKING U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis in Chicago is entering a preliminary injunction governing the use of force against protesters and journalists.
Ellis, apparently wrapping up, is quoting George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and others.

Here at Northcenter Town Square where 100-200 community members including families and young children are rallying after a teacher was taken by federal law enforcement from a local daycare this morning.

if there was a rich person with the will, you could build the most incredible news organization that has ever existed just from the wreckage of this year alone.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

There has been a jarring shift in tactics and an escalation in force since Greg Bovino’s Border Patrol “Green Machine” started roving Chicago in made-for-TV patrols and raids.

Now, they’re primed to take on a much larger role in the deportation campaign.

Reports of Border Patrol being met with whistles and protesters on the NW side, Evanston, Skokie and Niles; some by schools, some in pretty quiet neighborhoods. By all accounts the feds were staying just long enough to rile up the neighbors.
Here’s a disturbing video from Evanston of a federal agent hitting a man on the ground as people yell that he can’t breathe.

Border Patrol grabbed workers from the front yard of a home in Edison Park this afternoon then took them behind an office building in Niles and passed them off to a prisoner van. Woman came out to MF them and said "you're in the most conservative neighborhood in the city and nobody wants you here."

The federal appeals court in Chicago today put a temporary hold on the order requiring Border Patrol commander-at-large Gregory Bovino to appear in a courtroom every weeknight until Nov. 5.
