153 House Democrats including it's leader @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social voted for legislation today that will keep funding Trump/Rubio/Miller's imperialist foreign policy. ↘️
The House voted 341 to 79 to fund Trump's war-mongering foreign policy agenda.

Only 57 Democrats voted NO.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"
A St. Paul resident says federal officers knocked on her door and asked her to identify Hmong and Asian households in her North End neighborhood last week.

Honestly one of the most terrifying things I’ve read in a long time - how often is this happening and decisions being made on the basis of AI hallucinated information??
WM Police chief Craig Guildford has apologised for identifying a fictitious West Ham v Maccabi Tel Aviv match in a police report. He’s written to the home affairs committee and blames Microsoft CoPilot for the error

What a great point; how dare people suggest that incredibly powerful and abusable technology that’s fundamentally altering our world and reality should be regulated or criticised in any way.

Tech companies are pure and benevolent, can do no wrong, and they can always be completely trusted.

Sharing, or threatening to share, a deepfake intimate image without consent is a criminal offence.

This offence, created by the Data Act last year, will be brought into force this week, and I will make it a priority offence in the Online Safety Act too.

I absolutely welcome the govt's new law making it illegal to create non-consensual intimate images - and I also recognise that legislation is only as good as its enforcement.

We must ensure Ofcom's investigation is conducted swiftly; justice for victims cannot wait.
