I know it's a misogyny problem so this advice would never work for these people anyway but it's wild how much they overcomplicate getting laid.

If you are clean, curious about other people and relaxed about being turned down then finding someone who wants to hit has maybe never been easier.

We need to get better at calling out fascists, authoritarians, racists, and bigots as the pathetic spineless babies they are.

Their position is not one of strength, but weakness. Their entire worldview is based in fear of such small differences that don't actual impact their life. It's pitiful.

Social media (and moderation) are and will always be messy and imperfect, as is democracy. It's why it's more important than ever that people are educated properly on how these platforms work and how to be safe on them, as well as properly regulating and holding responsible social media companies.

I have spent almost my entire adult life up to this point effectively managing and moderating online communities primarily for teenagers who are intelligent, neurodivergent, queer, introverted outcasts.

The idea of removing that community from people in future makes me incredibly sad and angry.

I have a very personal grudge with the whole idea of banning social media for teens. If that was enacted when I was a child my life would be demonstrably worse, and different in every single way.

Social media companies need better regulation, and parents especially need more education.

I got my job and career of over ten years, I made dozens of friends, several romantic relationships, met people I never would have otherwise, learnt about the world in a very direct way that was previously inaccessible, found and treasured support networks, acted as support for others.

It’s horrific that these kids are being taught to hate & at such an early age.
