Absolutely definitely call them. I just got to have an extremely cathartic 15 minute ranyt about the guardian's transphobia to an actual person. Get the word out. Spam the fuckers. Tell them exactly what they are.
In the spirit of The Guardian’s appeal, I’ve added a quote from former columnist Suzanne Moore, who said this on social media defending transphobic remarks she made in the Guardian.

The paper would continue to pay for her services for years to come.

Having to resign from a BBC science show after 16 years and 33 seasons, for not being a transphobe is where we are as a country.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Oh @robinince.bsky.social is the best of us and it’s criminal that he has to resign from presenting on the BBC while Justin Webb and Sharron Davies and all the poisonous people continue without the “difficult” conversations

Interesting how transphobic voices that work for the BBC never get put in this awful position.

NHS Sussex is following a policy of forced detransition for children. Literally experimenting on kids.

Excluding trans children is pointless cruelty - and Girlguiding has set a dangerous example | LBC
When a charity as large and well-resourced as Girlguiding folds so quickly, it sends a signal to others that excluding trans people is the path of least resistance, writes Melissa Dee

JK Rowling once said "ignoring racist abuse leaves targets feeling isolated and abuse. Hate loves silence, which it takes for consent." And yet, she is supporting Sandie Peggie, who was revealed in her tribunal to be an horrendous racist, without caveat. That means that Rowling's silence is consent.

I made a complaint about this. It won't make any difference by itself but bombarding the BBC with complaints and hassling their journos on socials might get us somewhere. www.bbc.co.uk/contact/comp...

Two of the most at risk prisoners hunger striking right now are trans, and yet we have seen very few of the queer news sites that have covered our actions bring up the hunger strikers or their reasons for action.
Instead they've been awash with Sandie Peggy discourse.
Where is the solidarity?

I spoke in Parliament today to challenge the misinformation from those claiming this tribunal as a 'win' for the anti-trans agenda.

In fact it found Ms Peggie harassed a colleague for being trans, and it dismissed almost all her claims.

It also found that trans segregation is not supported in law.
We've written & published a short summary statement regarding the Sandie Peggie V NHS Fife Health Board employment tribunal case & the judgment given yesterday. Much of the media coverage has missed key information, the most important aspect being that all claims against Dr Beth Upton were dismissed

Ashamed to say I had no idea about this
Our comrades, our hunger strikers, have been starving for 5 weeks in protest of the state's oppression of Palestinian activists and continued participation in Israeli apartheid and genocide.
If you have not done anything to support them, start now.

##SupportTheHungerStrikers
SHOCKING: 7 Palestine Action activists have been on HUNGER STRIKE for as long as 30 DAYS.

The activists have been denied bail, and could be held for over two years before their trial.

WHY is no one talking about this?!

Trans people need to be careful about talking about DIY. Yes talk about it in the general sense, quote the facts and figures but be careful. Don't give away sources to cis folks. Don't talk to journalists about the details. They're coming for it.

When are we to expect newspaper front-page interview features with Dr. Beth Upton about her two-year ordeal of having her right to anonymity removed and her name dragged through the mud and being decried as a sexual predator only for a tribunal to clear her and find SHE was discriminated against?

We all know what happens when people start describing minority groups in terms of disease...
Your colleague Labour MP Joani Reid just described trans people as a 'virus'.

Because she was upset that a vexatious case brought by a racist, transphobic nurse didn't go her way.

Tell me again about Labour's 'progressive policies'.

Just want others in the trans community to know that stuff like this is only possible because of the extreme hard work of really good allies most of whom you will never see or hear from. But they are willing to fight for us at immense personal cost, when others back down. This is my cheers to them.

Very suspicious of articles that are actively trying to manufacture & reinforce a very narrow definition of conversion practices, focusing on electric shock treatment. Banning electric shock treatment is not going to impact on the extensive conversive therapies in use today, including in the NHS.
“More than 250 people were subjected to painful electric shocks, designed to change their sexual preferences and gender identity, in NHS hospitals between 1965 and 1973…”

And in 2025, conversion practices remain legal in the UK and the government is abusing trans youth by denying them healthcare.
