I grew up in awe of technology, I loved learning about new technology as a kid. I saw the creation of the internet.
Then I saw the tech world do nothing for the next 20 years, except make things shitter to extract more money from users and investors.

I watched the industry curdle into money-extraction world-boiling garbage solutions in search of problems pushed by CEOs who threw themselves wholeheartedly behind weird fascist hatemongering.
The tech industry lost the benefit of the doubt on any new stuff because of its own actions!

I never thought of getting a cheap jacket and adding spikes, studs, pins and patches of varying degrees of leftist views, and also volunteering with a local community group, as a Corruption Arc. But I like it.
