Frankly it's a blessing and a curse.

You're just like everybody else, except for brief moments of incendiary loss of control, possession by a force which you can only hope won't get you in trouble, but won't allow you to choose.

Having now researched the Charlottesville airport, I find that you have 3 airlines to play against each other.

My college town spoke has 1. No fare competition. So I fly from Chicago.

Amtrak is not very reliable, but the trains I take are never more than half an hour late.
