It's a real pain in the arse that my local bus stop and local train station are 30 mins walk from one another, meaning that if one method of transport gets cancelled I'm just shit out of luck. Glasgow disappoints me so much with public transport.

The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

The Xbox 360 was formative for me. It's the first non-Nintendo console I personally owned (positive), and I was working in Gamestation during that console gen, so I experienced the horrors of aggrieved parents not realising the controllers needed batteries on Christmas Eve (negative). What a box.

Forgot the names of most of what I planted this year, so I'm playing a haphazard game of "Perennial or Not?" by seeing if each individual plant survives the first Scottish frosts

Last week I reviewed cyan starlight for @tabletopbookshelf.com - really bleak, lonely and beautiful role playing. I had a heroic death in a starfight; what better way to go for a grizzled old interstellar scout?
