Thinking about how when I came out to 2 of my siblings my sister asked me to define a woman and my brother wished me better luck as a woman because I'd made a fucking ugly bloke and how the bizarre thing was that both of them were in their own way attempting to respond supportively

Try not to be too much of a conspiracist about it but the book they got rid of was Nevada and at least one of the librarians is a hp stan who was still recommending one of em as her book of the year in 2025

XWP has an electric blanket on her side (it's named Klaudi) that I think she loves more than me. Sometimes she gets into bed and just laughs in triumph at how hot it is under the duvet

Good night all I hope you had peaceful days. Giraffes can sleep as little as 30 mins a night in the wild and usually on their feet. In zoos they can sleep for hours and with their necks weirdly folded so they can rest their heads on their bums like a weird cat

Just remembered I fell asleep thinking about recipes & dreamed of a podcast hosted by 3 mean gays called "well YOU eat it then" that was just negative food reviews and people writing in with cooking disaster stories. At the end they picked something out of a hat and slammed it (this week, spaghetti)

(with the caveat I'm not exactly compliment-accepter of the year) you could accept that they really do believe it, and thank em for their sincere opinion (even if you privately diverge on its accuracy)? Then you aren't deceiving or being rude but a third thing that harms nobody

Good! Yes I bet handing it over in its first bloom of accuracy feels amazing.
People whose brains work better than mine tell me my id photo is actually fairly different to how I look now so I would like the carding just for the data on that, nice to get the scrutiny of an impartial source for free

Ahh, perhaps hypocritical of me that I did love to be carded, it makes me sad to think I wasn't paying attention for my last one ever. If I get a surprise last hurrah I'll remember it properly

Nice to have new data for the spreadsheet but also the proportion of accurate genderings I've got without makeup on is getting quite high. I have to assume I am very bad at it! The things I like on me are clearly taking me in the wrong direction :/

Over my dry streak thanks to a grill cook thinking I'm a young lady/darling (I am nearly 40 and he looked about the same; sure it will come as a surprise especially to feminist theorists that men who read me as a woman also tend to read me as younger than I am)
