Also if you are gonna steal art for your pitch deck, which is admittedly a time-honored tradition, nobody cares if you do it the old-fashioned and eco friendly way: Google Image Search.

None of them need to ask ChatGPT - or anyone - for ideas! That’s not the fuckin‘ problem here. Time and technology are the problem. But ChatGPT can’t solve those problems either!

I do not get the assertion that AI is good for ”generating ideas”. All the content and systems designers I know have ideas coming out of their eyeballs. Entire design documents for features that nobody asked for. Backstory plot twists and synergies soaked in their very souls!

When I rode the light rail into town, my train was full of immigrants speaking so many languages, and y'know what? It was fantastic. I miss my commute, because it wasn't Hell. Bicycle & light rail; exercise and community and peace. Except during the World Cup. Then we'd argue, but only about Messi.
🚨 BREAKING: Senator Tommy Tuberville just went full nativist on the Senate floor, telling a sitting U.S. Congresswoman to “go back” to Somalia and smearing immigrants as terrorists.

My favorite example of this is that, during the fight scene on the bridge during The Last Jedi, Laura Dern could NOT stop herself from going "pew, pew" while she pulled the trigger on the prop blaster.
Not the wittiest one, but I love it.

This is the third time Jeet Heer has reposted this story about "One nice guy convinced me that there are 'okay' conservatives."

There is still no philosophical foundation for conservatism that does not eventually morph into a murderous desire to "purify" the territory they control.

Hey, hey, hey. I'm 6' and have made 6 figures, and all I want is for something much bigger than I am, leathery, scalie or furry, and fully self aware to let me be the little spoon for once. We can bang afterwards. I'll even do that thing with my tongue that they like.
men: i'm not 6' tall making 6 figures, i will die alone

women: i want to fuck the eye of sauron

I hope Trump lives.

I hope he lives long enough to see a blue wave in 2026, and another in '28. I hope he lives long enough to see all his damage reversed, and all his cronies indicted. I hope he lives long enough to see justice for his own crimes, against the public and the world.

I hope.

Besides which he is literally damaging his own ability to understand and communicate in English every time he does this. Instead of thinking or engaging when he writes he is lazy/sloppy because he trusts the machine will polish shit for him.

He's atrophying his own linguistic ability.

It makes it worse actually because it seems with context, they know they aren't seeing uses from genAI but they're forcing it anyway and hoping something happens

Yeah. But so many artists in our industry were the first adopters and experimenters with GenAI. In the early days it was just a tool. And I think for a lot of devs, it still is and they don't have the same ethical concerns. They may not know there even are ethical concerns.

In a world where Gen AI wasn't being trained on copywrited works without consent, data centers weren't causing ecological harm and inflating the cost of electricity and tech CEOs weren't looking for ways to replace their workers with it, these would be entirely valid uses of AI imo.

So its okay to support Data Centres that poison and damage communities if it helps your grammar slightly? How did people ever manage? 🙄

this, you want the golden egg but what happens when every egg turns out rotten because it was not made good?
So, he's pushing for AI, even though isn't helping at all, because of the possibility, that maybe, somehow, possibly, they will find a great use for it that no one has found yet? Or I'm missing something?

Because if it's that, this looks like he fell for a scam and doesn't want to admit it.
