AFM President Gagliardi celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph with NYS Governor Kathy Hochul. New York musicians are fortunate to have such a strong advocate in Albany, and we look forward to working with her to protect the interests and livelihoods of working musicians across our great state.

I personally will continue to use "Gulf of Mexico" because our president is a wrathful felonious nincompoop with the intellect of paramecium and I do not consent to his cartographic buffoonery
Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

Poppies at sundown

Polly Joke, Cornwall. The gentleness of the sunset as the warm air kissed the remaining trails of the day and guided it towards rest. The poppies danced on the breeze and swayed with happiness. Heaven. 😊

Gulf of America, Gulf of Hank, Gulf of Whataburger, Gulf of Texaco—none of this matters.

It's the Gulf.
