I'm taken by the idea that many uses of generative AI don't make work faster, they merely move the work to other people and systems, or generate new steps, steps that have perhaps not been figured out yet, or even conceived as necessary.

Unpopular opinion: When coroutines were added to C++, every library example and conference talk slide used them for illustration. Now we have to wade through the coroutine cruft to understand the actual concepts. Authors seem to think this is a flex. Stop using coroutines when not needed.

You know the code I just reviewed is the darkest of dark magics not just by the preprocessor incantations but it also calls into C23 operators `__typeof__`.
