Pam Bondi: "If we prosecute everybody in the Epstein files, the whole system will collapse!"

The amount of BS deflection Pam Bondi is committing (oh, and definitely perjury) is wild. And to be clear, her “Donald Trump has done so many good things” doesn’t excuse if he’s a pedophile. It doesn’t excuse anyone from that regardless of their politics. It is a moral failing to the highest degree.

"Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal?

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake."

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

This weekend was a battle of the fanbases. So far, Iron Lung has done just over $18M with a budget of $3M, while Melania has made $7M with a budget of $75M.

You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test

Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs)

Good tech.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales)

Bad tech.

The issue isn't whether "Melania" is a good movie or a bad one. It's that one of the richest men in America, with business interests affected by public policy, gave the President's family $75 million to make it. Like that's somehow legal.

This isn’t about convicting Don Lemon. It’s unlikely that will happen. It’s about intimidating journalists & making them censure themselves out of fear of consequences. It’s about eroding the free press because the administration can’t afford the criticism.
This just in: "Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards," Lemon's attorney Abbe Lowell says.

My hottest Oscars take is that works of art should not be pitted against one another in competition because the process necessarily narrows the field of art people believe to be worth consuming.
