This little ass. Disappeared all day. I thought she snuck out of the house or curled up to die somewhere. Canceled plans to host an oktoberfest party. Walked around the neighborhood in the rain looking for her. Agonized about when to tell my partner. She was just hiding in the basement all day long.

The idea is that you're supposed to "grow out of" your youthful dalliance with Rage Against the Machine or The Clash or whatever, in order to graduate into adulthood, when you simply resign yourself to How Things Are. But you were right all along to believe in all that shit!

Yeah, it's impossible to know if all the tumult and dysfunction of the program from 2014-2019 chased him away or if he just never would have cared about the national team. A real enigma of a player, but what a player.

As a fan it has been a very strange season imho. I mean, of course winning things is the goal. But between the way the org treated Jim (even separate from the firing), the maximum murderball style and Carnell's truly disturbing facial hair... Not even close to my favorite season.
