I discovered a relatively old article (2017) by an (apparently) leading scholar (citations) that is one of the worst pieces of garbage I have ever seen, tendentious, disinforming and propagandistic to the extreme. Nineteen years ago, on October 7, 2006, Anna Politkovskaya was assassinated by Putin's hitmen.
She was the first to tell the truth about Russia's mass crimes in Chechnya, which foreshadowed those in Syria, Ukraine, Africa and elsewhere. They could have been prevented.
Almost no one listened to her.

Det är framförallt temat för besöket som gör mig, ehm... skeptisk. Propaganda? I meningen att man ska lyssna på propaganda för att sedan kunna analysera den? Knappast, eftersom besöket efterföljs av ett sådant på USA:s ambassad. Snarare ett textboksexempel av bothsideism.

Yes. Was tempted to mention that, but the notion of tätort that includes multiple communes while excluding parts of the eponymous commune is internationally difficult to comprehend. Although Brussels technically is the same. More or less.

Massive Russian missile and drone attack on #Ukraine last night. Russia used different types of cruise missiles, Kinzhal missiles and drones on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and civilian objects. Western regions of Ukraine were under the most intense attack.
