“In total, I’ve spoken with over two-dozen rather senior people in the datacenter universe, and there was an interesting and overriding theme to our conversations; no one understands how the financial math is supposed to work. They are as baffled as I am, and they do this for a living.”

David Simon, creator of ‘The Wire’, being interviewed by Ari Shapiro (NPR)
SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Probably the Silksong review that best reflects my own feelings. The game teases you with its highs and kills you with its lows. Eventually, if you don't like the grind, you get bored and go home.

Gotta love that our university president set into motion a flurry of emails and phone calls at 6 AM this morning that was at least in part fear mongering.
Screenshot of CTV news article that says:

Concordia University has closed its downtown Montreal campus, cancelling classes and labs, on Tuesday after a small group of protestors disrupted classes and a midterm exam on Monday.

“We took this exceptional measure to protect our entire community,” said Graham Carr, the university’s president and vice-chancellor.

“In the last two years, we have seen protests on campus, but have never been forced to enact such preventive measures.”

But Carr says “that changed yesterday [Monday] after two individuals were arrested.”

“One of those arrested was later discovered to be in possession of a metal bar and several incendiary devices,” he said. “Neither of these individuals are members of the Concordia community.”

Montreal police (SPVM) would not confirm Concordia’s claims of the presence of a metal bar or incendiary devices.

However, the force noted that two people were arrested on campus after classes were interrupted.

“One person was arrested for starting a fire alarm, so [a potential charge of] mischief,” said Raphaël Bergeron, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “Another person was arrested for assault.”
