When we call Trumpism a cult we are being pejorative more than usefully descriptive. We are trying to escape the fact that Trumpism is an American fascist movement. It certainly has cultic elements. That's because fascism, religion, abusive families, and MLMs share underlying dynamics.

Our neighbors got targeted by ICE last night. Everyone is a citizen, so there's no reason for them to show up, but they came at 10:30pm anyway because I guess the machine never stops harassing non-whites.
