WI Repubs are awful as well. The state court threw out gerrymandering at the state level but not federal. If Dems take back control of the state next year they'll gain two federal seats back.

I read another article that said up to 3 seats. They said they have to pass it in two consecutive sessions {2025, 2026} it then goes for vote statewide as a Constitutional amendment.

It should be clear to D.C. Dems by now that the Heritage Foundation, the GOP and SCOTUS GOP judges have conspired to enact permanent GOP rule. It's blatantly obvious. Yesterday, 13 Dem senators voted for a trump judicial nominee. An election denier.

Nothing. They talk about doing something in IL, NY and Maryland but that's as far as it's gone. Meanwhile, the GOP has picked up an extra 7 seats so far.

These data centers are flooding into WI because of access to Lake Michigan. Port Washington approved one that's 1700 ACRES ! The community is fighting back. One just got rejected south of Milwaukee.

Dems could eliminate all 9 GOP seats in CA. 5 or 6 in NY. 2 or 3 in IL. 1 in WA and OR. If they take back the state Legislature in WI they could eliminate 2 more. They could offset the repeal of the VRA. Of course, they won't.

Once the fascists on SCOTUS gut the VRA the GOP can gerrymander up to 19 seats. This is why Repubs don't care about polls regarding the shutdown, ACA hikes, Medicaid, etc. They'll have a permanent majority in Congress. Dems could offset most of it but this would require them getting off their asses

If Democrats actually ran on these things, they would've won the Presidency, had 312 House Members and 59 senators right now.
