Long's Peak is usually the star of the Fort Collins' far horizon. Today the sun's falling rays, the clouds, and coming sunset steal the show. #photography #mountains #sunset Northern #Colorado
Half an hour before sunset, the sun is distorted by clouds. The nearby Long's Peak gliws with orange light, silhouetted against an orange and yellow sky streaked with thin, horizontal clouds. Rays fall through bare trees on a horizon closer than the peaks.

Day 8 of #ArtAdventCalendar During a particularly difficult time in my life, I decided to paint flowers to cheer myself up. At the time it felt peaceful and serene. Now I can see the darkness that still surrounded me. Even in the title - Tulips, Dark White.
