This guy is a great example of why the way to handle people scared of cool progressive stuff is to ignore them, do the cool progressive stuff anyway, then watch as their protests quietly fade because the cool progressive stuff is inarguably good.

It really has! Honestly, both midcard scenes are so much more dynamic and interesting than the top card… they kind of have to be, they’re where all the action is!

Honestly, hard to get invested in the top of the men’s division when that hype video seems to make clear 5 months in advance what the two Mania title matches will be. Maybe there’ll be a surprise, but for now the women’s division and the midcard are a thousand times more interesting.

I suspect that he'll be embroiled in the MFT program for at least a bit, maybe along with Shinsuke? If I were booking (which I clearly am not), in the meantime Drew would unseat Cody, setting Sami up to win the Rumble and face down a man at Mania who (I believe) he has never beaten.
