I think this is a big part of it. You go from Oregon where you have one king making donor and a system lined up behind you to LSU where you won’t even have an AD committed to you. Doesn’t make sense.

The scale of Counter Strike is astounding to me. I played it 25 years ago when it was a fan made mod of Half Life. My buddies worked on it. Now there’s a 10 figure market for in game accessories. Hard to fathom.
