Bernie Sanders has a bill that even gradually steps this up over several years to ease this country into Medicare for All. Contact your Senators and House reps. Tell them to support this bill. We are the only “civilized” country without universal healthcare.
Universal Healthcare, w/ the option to add an affordable private option, would be the ultimate goal but, Medicare for All would be a great FIRST STEP.
It would take a few years to adjust but our society would be so much healthier knowing they can get services whenever they need without going broke.
