For those who don't know, Cajuns as an ethnicity, only exist because in 1755 the English entered Acadia in Nova Scotia and burned villages, destroyed property, and round up more than 80% of the local Acadians, forced them on boats, broke up families, and sent them out to sea.

God, I'm remembering how I was pushed by practically everyone in my life to churn out art for profit. Got told I'd never make it as an artist if I wasn't willing to pull all nighters. Was put down for selling other's work at cons rather than my own. Treated like I never moved fast enough on comics
