Marvel adopting generic cinematography with formulaic screenplays for past 20 years literally pre-digested cinema for easy slop training. 🏆

Their virtual infrastructure, - their rules. That’s why 100% self-hosted Internet is the future.
Discord lied.

they’re now sending scanned IDs to persona, a third party company.

“facial scans will never leave your device” -discord lmao.

Professionals would be willing to consider Ai if there was a civilized compensation mechanism for IP licensing instead of a bunch of lawless & insane corporate barbarians hijacking all art & culture.

Fine/arrest them until they comply.

This is beautiful & something tech industry could use more:

“Empathy engineer is someone who considers the social, cultural and emotional factors that influence how society interacts with technology, and focuses on blending the human perspective with tech-driven problem-solving.”
Empathy engineer: is this the £110k job of your dreams?

The strangest thing about North Americans ( both conservative & liberal ) is the non-ironic use of the term “white” as a meaningful descriptor of identity.

People of the world do not define themselves by generational exposure to sunlight, but lineage/tradition/geography/language & religion.

One of the healthiest things I’ve done was to stop trying to read/watch/play *everything* that gets released, - millennials were raised in a media-hungry era constantly plugged in to culture, but it’s no longer possible to meaningfully digest everything, and it’s ok, - eat only when hungry.

Just to get the lay of the land, do I perhaps know of any Europe-based Unreal Engine (C++) developers on here who do freelance work?

Or UE-curious people who would be comfortable with C++ development

Nothing concrete (yet) but I’d like to know of you in case things move forward!?

I highly recommend Ex Machina, a concept album I did about computation, but there are other projects in my profile

I always hoped coding would become a ubiquitous skill among general public ( in the same way driving is ), but the sheer number of programming languages contributed to it being a specialization. Maybe we should’ve picked one as a global standard & just taught it to every kid in the world.

For the past few Bandcamp Fridays I’ve been a little self conscious posting about it, since I haven’t released any new music in awhile. However! People are always super cool and nice and supportive, and I’m very grateful 💚

So pls check out my music. It may not be new, but I’m still very proud of it

This is a good time to start a site with a directory of companies using Ai, - to track & boycott them into oblivion, - the Slop Team list.
We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

Get outta here with this normalization bullshit.
