I think it’s important to remember that as into social media as we are, huge numbers of Brits & Americans don’t spend time online & get their info from newspapers, tv & what colleague say at the pub/work.

When i was a little boy I bounced around between two homes. One full of snooker on the telly noise, sharing a bed with coats on-top to keep warm, mince & tatties every night, and the other, empty, full of echoes and me with a room on my own on the top floor.

When my sons were babies, I'd hum the lullaby from Pan's Labyrinth to get them to sleep. They're 12 and 15 now, so only a few more years to go until I can suggest we watch it, and I can't wait to see if my psychological long game has a payoff.
