On Sunday, I was involved in a car accident. Unfortunately insurance won't cover it, and I have no car now. I really, really need one. So I set up a GoFundMe. I would appreciate any help, whether you can donate or just share the link. gofund.me/3f72e394

"The consumer does not care if what they're looking at is AI" lmao
Consumers have repeatedly shown that they do care and they do not like it.

Jason Blum's take on AI sucks. an AI takeover isn't inevitable, and treating it as such (while also referring to filmmaking as "content creation," smdh) helps AI companies promote the lie that their deeply unprofitable, destructive tech is more powerful and useful than it actually is.

What's y'alls theory on why so many trans folks are into puppyplay (no judge, I'm part of the puppy agenda)
montypla.bsky.social
No, they are not. They don't do anything you could not do better yourself, you're just too lazy. If they were actually useful, they would A. Be making money for the companies running them, and B. Large companies would be using them for shit like accounting, which they don't.
montypla.bsky.social
You're just reaching reeeeeaaaaaal hard to try and make this shit feel ethical to justify your use of it. It's pathetic.

I dunno how to tell you this man but you should care about individual artists and creators getting their works stolen.
No one actually cares what happens to Disney or whoever the fuck, but Disney has lots of lawyers and money and can use those to get IP protections on the tech.

No exceptions. If you use Gen A I in any capacity whatsoever, you suck.

Yes, the way you're using it too. You're not special.

"She probably doesn't mean me"

I do.

I've seen some vocally anti-AI people recently make an anti-AI post and be surprised there are still pro-AI people following them, and I can explain this;

most pro-AI people think they are somehow the exception. the way THEY are using it, SURELY you would take no issue!

well, we do. so fuck off.

Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.

I don't like him personally, but David Simon on AI is the final word on the subject.

Rugrats Cookies (1999-2000): A line of graham cookies, sporting the imprinted image of "Rugrats" characters like Tommy, Chuckie, Dil, and Reptar on one side, and frosting and rainbow sprinkles on the other. Available in cinnamon cookie/vanilla frosting or honey cookie/chocolate frosting

The most important thing about these Rugrats cookies is that they are the spiritual successor to Dizzy Grizzlies, which had just been phased out shortly beforehand, and which are in my top 3 favorite discontinued foods of all time

Dizzy Grizzlies (1995-circa 1998): An X-Treme Teddy Grahams spin-off, consisting of bite-sized butter cookies shaped like bears in action poses rollerblading, surfing with rad shades and more, coated with chocolate or vanilla frosting and sprinkles (of course sprinkles) on the other side.
A blue swirl box, with an image of a bear dressed like the Bugle Boy section of a Sears catalog in the early 90's, riding a skateboard. He is surrounded by images of cookies that look like bears doing extreme sports

When I was in high school I waited in a Sam's Club for a few hours to get an album signed by Big & Rich so you can guess who I'm rooting for.

To give an idea of the time period, while waiting by the book section I read a book by Bill Engvall of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
