Think about their approach to pollution. Democrats don't like pollution? Then we'll get rid of as much regulation as possible -- even when the industry doesn't want it gone -- to make Democrats angry. Literally stupidity at the level of a Captain Planet villain.

This is a lot of their motivation
Lying about this isn't going to convince anyone that they are paying less at the grocery.
Why is this even being framed as about norms? Insane.
People aren't having kids more because housing, medical care, and essential goods are more expensive and pay has been relatively stagnant for 40+ years.

It's really just basic economic concerns.
Sorry, I'm just annoyed at billionaires enabling Trump and Republicans and then acting like them doing what they have been wanting to do is a shock. That's all I meant.

Not much aid groups and foundations could have done.
They don't care that ICE is going after people that did it the right way too.
I think it's pretty objectively true that these large generative AI systems have done far more harm than good. And it doesn't look like that trajectory is changing.
'unexpected' -- as if Republicans haven't been attacking all aid the US does for over a decade, and as if Trump wasn't attacking it during his campaign.
If 70% of voters really think this, then the strategy is to think about how out of touch with reality they are and how to fix it.
It's also funny because the list of three things in that blurb, in order of importance are Climate Change (massive threat to everyone on the planet), LGBT rights (under attack by the right), and way, way, way, way down below, crime (at historic lows).
He probably thinks "electric" means Democrat and "steam" means coal.

He's literally that stupid.
They're basically Captain Planet villains now. They're also for pollution just for the sake of pollution because it makes Democrats mad.
That too. But most of these same voters aren't taking fascism seriously either. It's not real to a lot of people. Some others are for it, of course.
It's like some people want to train everyone to be unable to communicate with each other.

A future where no one really writes and no one really reads. A society of garbage in, garbage out.
It's a garbage rag now for what Bezos wants to be the news. We all better get used to it.
He's just wasting tax payer money
Ok, I should also say fascism is right up there with Climate Change but it's basically the same people. The average voter doesn't take concerns about fascism seriously either though.
I should probably also mention that Climate Change is the single biggest threat to the future of the US and LGBT human rights are actually under attack.

The NY Times and WaPo may be lost causes but holy shite look at PEOPLE out here absolutely killing it with 100% unvarnished truths 🌟
It's funny because one could easily argue this means voters are incredibly out of touch with reality.

Crime is down, most voters want to fight crime with losing strategies, and the biggest threat to the future of the US is Climate Change.

And basic human rights are under attack.
Being "tough on crime" generally is used to promote ineffectual strategies instead of best practices that reduce crime before it happens and reduce recidivism with reform-based policies.

Crime hysteria is bad.
Let's remember that crime has been consistently going down and the idea that it's a major problem is entirely counter-factual.

Voters are also out of touch.
They aren't and they're bullshit.
