I went to public school in NY suburbs and we did a whole unit on WWII internment camps in 7th grade. I graduated in 2007. I remember being assigned a Zinn book in HS too.

Mr. Rogers was deeply political. It's just that his politics were rooted in gentle kindness. And people who root their politics in cruelty see that as an entirely milquetoast stance, because they don't understand the concept of gentle kindness as a guiding light. Only hate and aggression.

I don't care about "as-is" used cars. If you don't even get to 30 days and 500 miles and the manufacturer is coming back with repairs that total nearly $3K, that's fucking insane.

Consider this. Drills in predominantly white workplaces as part of training them on what could potentially happen in the event of a police raid. Without disclosing that it's a drill in the same way we do random drug testing.
