Minneapolis residents are ready for a new mayor.

And the best way to ensure we have new leadership in the mayor’s office is to use ranked choice voting.

That’s why we’re proud to endorse
@omarfatehmn.com #1 for mayor.
@dewayneforminneapolis.com #2 for mayor.
@jazzformayor.bsky.social #3 for mayor.

Frey cannot be trusted to deliver on public safety if he can’t even be honest about MPD. All we’ve gotten from Mayor Frey is broken promises and misdirection when there are valid questions about his failures.

On November 4th, we're going to elect a mayor accountable to and honest with us.
mplsforthemany.com
When he first ran for mayor, Jacob Frey tried to convince residents that he would make police reforms, since the mayor is in charge of MPD saying, “That’s the mayor’s job.”

But now that he’s in charge, Frey is skirting accountability for the promotion of the officer who killed Amir Locke.

One of these three will be our next mayor and I am so happy to know them @omarfatehmn.com @dewayneforminneapolis.com @jazzformayor.bsky.social

These are the people Mayor Frey and his allies have aligned themselves with - along with Republican donors - in order to hold onto power.

But we know voters are ready for a mayor and council who put working residents first.

A court found that the “landlord broke the law when he blocked democratic socialists from door knocking.”

Evidence at the hearing included testimony of a Zoom call where former Frey campaign manager Joe Radinovich advised landlords how to “inconvenience and stall candidates.”

Radinovich did not respond to provide comment." Next to a photo of Joe Radinovich.

As we all know, landlords are spending big in this year’s elections to make sure their interests are protected in a city where over half the residents are renters.

But they’re not just spending money. They’re breaking the law. Case in point: Malcolm Yards’ John Wall.
Title text: "Malcolm Yards Malcontents Broke the Law" over a screenshot from the Star Tribune with the title "Court: Minneapolis landlord broke law when he blocked democratic socialists from door knocking" next to a photo of John Wall and over text, "John Wall, Landlord who kept Robin Wonsley and Michael Wilson out of his buildings was found guilty of breaking state law earlier this week."

While Mayor Frey is dodging the public and accountability wherever possible, the MPR mayoral survey is a great place to learn more about @omarfatehmn.com, @dewayneforminneapolis.com and @jazzformayor.bsky.social.
mplsforthemany.com
It’s not just mayoral forums that Frey is skipping.

Frey did not respond to MPR when they put together their 2025 Voter Guide, refusing to answer hard-hitting questions such as “Why are you running?” and “What are the top issues you’re discussing with voters and why?”

Led by Jamal Osman, alongside @katiecashman.bsky.social, @aurinmpls.bsky.social and @robin4mpls.bsky.social - STOP Slumlords is another ordinance passed by the progressive Council to protect renters from landlords who prioritize profits over ensuring Mpls residents have safe and dignified homes.
mplsforthemany.com
City Council just passed the STOP Slumlords ordinance, which protects renters living in the city’s most neglected properties.

Landlords like Brian Fitterer who manage properties with significant property violations will no longer be able to automatically renew their licenses.

If a Republican could win in Minneapolis, then this is what their donor base would look like.
An excerpt of an Axios Twin Cities newsletter stating: In Frey's corner: "All of Mpls" - a PAC fueled by donations from several developers, centrist labor unions, the Minneapolis Regional Chamber and even Lyft - has spent nearly $344,000 to influence city races as of late September.
• An offshoot group, "Thrive Mpls," spent another $46,000.
• A third group, "We Love Minneapolis PAC" — underwritten by the Downtown
Council and landlord groups - has spent nearly $122,000 to bolster Frey-aligned council candidates.
mplsforthemany.com
After years of well-documented neglect, renters at several IPG properties have unionized.

Meanwhile, Fitterer himself, whose track record was recently highlighted in the Star Tribune, is making max donations to Jacob Frey, Elizabeth Shaffer, Lydia Millard and more.
mplsforthemany.com
It’s no secret landlords are spending big this election to support candidates who will protect their bottom line.

But renters are fighting back the best way possible: they’re organizing.

And there’s no better example than the renters at properties owned by Brian Fitterer’s IPG.
Title text: "Renters Organize & Form Tenants Union" above the text "Renters pushed back against years of pests and broken equipment on properties owned by IPG and Brian Fitterer, "I've lied here 15 years and we won't run out just because IPG can't fix the issues and do their job," Mack said over a photo of renters speaking in front of an IPG property.
mplsforthemany.com
The stakes of this election couldn’t be clearer. Are we going to bring back the progressive majority on city council and finally elect a mayor who will stand with renters?

Or will Brian Fitterer and his landlord pals funnel enough money to candidates like Frey, Millard and Shaffer to get their way?
Title text: "Frey, Millard, Shaffer and Trump Donor Brian Fitterer" above a screenshot from the Star Tribune reading, "In July, IPG agreed to a settlement in which the ompany must pay back more than $5 million in relief to tenants. Speakers on Tuesday pointed out Fitterer's ties to President Donald Trump. In 2020, Fitterer had donated over $500,000 to Trump's campaign, The Salt Lake Tribune reported at the time. He's also the owner of the swimwear company Kandy Wrappers, which had previously sponsored a Miss US contest that had been owned by Trump."

This is not okay. Everyone should be standing against the intense islamophobia and anti Somali hate we are seeing in our city. Please speak out and stand against the fomenting of hate. Thanks CP & Senator for taking action.

Tonight a resident posted a picture of racist and Islamaphobic language written on Johnson street that called for @omarfatehmn.com to be deported and wished death upon the Somali community. @doronclark.bsky.social and I showed up right away to get this racist garbage off of our streets

The ICE agent wrote, “I cannot tell you how impressed my staff were as you stepped up and personally escorted that tactical vehicle through the crowd.”

Frey thinks this is “not assisting ICE” - but our communities know better.

And that’s why we’ll elect a new mayor on November 4th.
mplsforthemany.com
While Mayor Frey and Chief O’Hara have attempted to claim that MPD only showed up at the ICE action on June 3rd to assist with crowd control, ICE agents certainly saw MPD’s actions differently.

In fact, the ICE Special Agent in Charge emailed O’Hara to say thank you that same day.

Other Madore accomplishments:
- Voting with Rs against some of the biggest healthcare bills: major reform, omnibus spending, patient data protection
- Supporting an amendment to require photo ID when voting
- Leaning on 2 years as a suburban state rep 18 years ago as her main qualification

Minneapolis is lagging behind cities across the state in per capita state funding. Residents deserve a mayor who can develop positive relationships with legislators across jurisdictions.

Just one more reason to elect a new mayor on November 4th!
mplsforthemany.com
After eight years as mayor of the largest city in the state, Jacob Frey has exactly 0 endorsements from state legislators.

Mayor Frey’s inability to work with people at the state and county is holding Minneapolis back and Minneapolis residents are paying the price.
Title text: 'Jacob Frey has 0 endorsements from state legislators" over subtitle "Meanwhile Minneapolis is lagging behind other cities in per capita stated funding. We deserve a mayor who can partner with the state to advance progress in Minneapolis." above a bar graph that shows Minneapolis at $191, St. Cloud at $230, St. Paul at $265, Brainerd at $364 and Duluth at $406."
