Loading grapefruit in Weslaco, 1939. 5 days later, somebody in New York City bought one of these grapefruits, probably giving no thought to those who got it from the earth to the truck. I'm thankful for those who get down on their hands and knees, that I might eat a strawberry.

An Oregon Electric station that lived a different life after abandonment was the Corvallis depot. Not even really in Corvallis, as the branch from Gray ended on the east side of the Willamette river, this depot was *meant* to be temporary, but ended up lasting much longer than rail service.

About 99.9% of you who pirate books live in an area with a public library, and that library almost certainly has some sort of digital ebook platform. Go get a library card and a Libby account and just wait your six weeks for your free copy to borrow like the rest of us.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Equally there's the assumption of marginalization being a monolith. To make a personal point of it the zero-COVID mask forever utopia is for me an incomprehensible hellscape and inability to communicate while masked made the no-vaccine days a crapshoot I hated. I am as disabled as they are.
I genuinely do not think it is possible for non marginalized people to uplift marginalized voices at least through something as crude as social media shares. I Basically never see someone share a marginalized perspective they disagree with, so then all you are doing is amplifying your own view.
But people like MRO are doing the whole "Listen 👏 to 👏 Palestinians" and presenting their most deranged poasters, kinda like the weird Hasbarah accounts who do the same thing with Jews, and the Jewish Voice you should Listen to ends up being Meir freaking Kahane ימ"ש
