Rosa is retiring from the Great Canadian Bagel at Priestman and Regent today. She started working there in 2000, the same year I started at CBC, and has sold me a ton of bagels over a quarter century. (Chicken salad on cheddar herb — the best.)

BREAKING on MS NOW:

Jack Smith, in his opening statement to House Judiciary, says:

"Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power."

New in PN: The tech industry will come to regret its embrace of Trump

"A comprehensive anti-corruption, pro-consumer movement would inevitably target the industry and its indifference to the harms it creates. It could be incredibly potent, and tech barons would have no one to blame but themselves."

I see some people emerging as candidates for the Fredericton municipal election and yikes some people don't have a clue about muni responsibilities, politics, process.

Hoping for a robust line up of multiple choices for representation (like Ward 10 already has)

In Australia we put the right to live without being shot dead ahead of the right to own a gun..

Too bad our American politician's thinking doesn't involve how to keep citizens safe over power & money-lined pockets. Unfettered Capitolism & macho individualism at it's finest display with mass shootings. Kudos to those countries who regulate.

Important fact. This was not a single mass shooter who is nuts it was two Terrorists. Australias gun laws worked better than expected. No American has the right to question it gives Americas DAILY number of gun deaths

Let's be clear. When we banned Assault weapons in Australia and brought in sensible gun control laws at no stage did anyone say "We will NEVER see another mass shooting or single shooting death again"

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

Not sure they found a 'mistake'. They determined that using a different base price would lower costs to consumers. Both are policy decisions, are they not?

E10 fuels have been around a very long time. Doesn't that mean consumers have been overcharged due to EUB calculations for a long time?
