Posting mainly about #Space but also Trains and Biosciences. 🏳️‍🌈 🇪🇺 Left the dead bird app when it got replaced by a letter and got toxic. I have high hopes for BlueSky 💙

We can see how well that works with Boeing (airplane section fusion with Douglas), monopolies lead to lowered standards and stronger lobbying

The pilot was probably a Boeing whistleblower and Boeing sent a warning 🤔

The 737 is cursed.
Wild! A meteorite may have struck the windshield of a 737 flying over Colorado, according to early reports.

Whatever the object was, it cut a pilot's arm but did not seriously damage the plane. 🧪

One is from 29 km one from 50 km, small difference.
Aber der Snälltaget zwischen Berlin in Stockholm bleibt weiterhin bestehen?
As if the US would ever do anything the UN tells them to do. This fascist country threatened to b0mb the UN headquarters because their geriatric clown of a president was not able to take the stairs... It's time to sanction SpaceX. Don't buy their rockets, make starlink illegal!
Fork found in kitchen. The whole starship HLS program is the result of corruption and deception of the public. Maybe the engineers can get it to work in the next ten years, but we all know that this is unlikely. And even if it works, it's NOT SAFE for humans!
NASA safety panel warns Starship lunar lander could be delayed by years

Good thing blue origin has its lander...
So Themis will fly earlier than Callisto?
I love it when publicly funded science is behind a paywall...

This is a new image of comet 3I/ATLAS, showing the development of a long tail of dust and gas as the object gets closer to the Sun.

As a reminder, the "I" in 3I/ATLAS stands for "interstellar".

Because this comet formed around a different star and is OLDER THAN THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Europe’s first reusable main stage’s full-scale demonstrator is ready!

After its fit-check last December at Les Mureaux, France, Themis integration was completed: it is now packed and prepared for shipment.

Ready to head to its launch pad SSC’s Esrange spaceport in Sweden. 🛻🚀

They should ask the US for the videos they're taking, would be nice to see it from a third perspective 😉
They always imagined a beautiful future, but they didn't consider that capitalism demands cost efficiency over looks, which leaves no space for beauty. Everything has to be efficient. This is the reason why almost all new buildings are white blocks without any ornamentation :/

I hope it doesn't get cancelled :/
No, the capsule was lost, due to the spontaneous new flight path of the falcon 9. It was out of reach for communication during the last part of reentry but nobody knows if it was destroyed.
And even though I always suspect it's not true it's still disappointing to learn that it is in fact not most likely not true.
I hate it when scientists give me hope that we have actually found the first evidence of extraterrestrial life. But every time I read something like that, I know that it cannot be right. There is always a little @fcain.universetoday.com in the back of my head telling me to be sceptical.
An astonishing headline reporting on new observations from a team led to Nikku Madhusudhan claims they’ve found ‘hints of life’ on a planet orbiting a dwarf star some 124 light years away. What’s going on? (1/n) www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... 🔭 🧪
