I deleted all my twitter posts w/ a script and it was a little sad watching them go poof one at a time. In my past life, I was a teacher and had a lot of fun until my school shut down. I also ended up with major burnout the last year. I will share some old posts that brought my students & I joy.

The amount of denial in the world is crazy. There has not been one (crappy) study that proves an infection causes no long term harm.

On my birthday, I decided to drive 1.5 hours to go birding. The whole place was filled with blackbirds but nobody else. I see on ebirds later for that afternoon that someone saw like 40+ species and it was packed LOL..ugh.

My entire family is still masking despite being lone maskers. Don't want to deal with allergies, pollution, and infectious diseases given we have long covid, cancer, and kidney failure in the family.

Unfortunately, those in power right now are controlling the agenda. They have the money to obviously mitigate and save themselves and their spawn, unlike the rest of us. The fascist pig got himself covid/flu shots while they sowed chaos for the rest of us.

Why we still wear respirators despite others' judgment (none of their business anyway). We have very little tools left to protect our health and insurance companies will happily stop paying for treatments very soon so we will be left on our own to deal with medical problems/debt.

I was told this for my entire life since birth to a point of wondering wtf is wrong with me, why am I such a psychopath. Then, I got diagnosed last year only ironically seeing relatable content on social media.

Not just that but they are actively preventing us from getting tools needed to protect ourselves and community like killing OSHA, suppressing access to covid tests, halting funding to new covid related trials and research...fuck them all.

So I ended up sending her (8th grader) last minute. I was able to get an AirFanta 3 (we have the 4Lite too) and sent her with those & box of Auras. Told the teacher she has really bad allergies and they were like "nobody's ever asked us about an air filter". Wastewater is low so hoping for the best.

I'm calling my kid out sick for the week long camp coming up. I hate this freaking timeline. She should be able to safely attend things required by school but the camp place wouldn't even respond to me about ventilation and mitigation.
