Princeton IL (pop 7800), in red downstate Illinois. Police was friendly, people were peaceful, and much support from drivers. I (an immigrant) chatted with 2 veterans, a pastor, a British dual citizen, grandmas and kids. We sang the anthem. The sun shone brightly. This is America.

I own a Tesla. Don't hate me, I bought it when it was cool to care for the environment, I keep it because as a brown Latina immigrant, I'm safer driving it in this MAGA county I live in.
Here to say, tried FSD, did not buy it. Would never trust it. It's erratic unless you're in a freeway.

I saw you on Facebook and was so glad to find you here! I was Catholic all my life until I got married. I'm now a Lutheran (ELCA), with a warm heart still for my roots (and a whole south American catholic family still). I love your posts. You speak so much truth.

Man, I'm sorry you feel like that. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't all be put in the same bucket. Gosh, I'm a South American brown immigrant, and it pisses me off when I hear "criminal immigrants". I'm not a criminal. It's that a better example went we shouldn't do that?

I hear your sentiment. But let's not forget that, like Palestinians are not all Hamas, so Christians are not all MAGA. It's important to make that difference:while some might be bombing places, others like my family are feeding the homeless, and pulling weeds in community gardens for people in need.

And because they will spend all their time doing that, they will be blamed for the economy, housing, jobs or whatever else doesn't get front and center attention. This is the republican game. Break everything, so the next president has to spend time rebuilding instead of advancing.

My car is flex and I fuel with E85 (live in Illinois, so lots of stations offer it at the price that makes sense when considering the lower efficiency). My other car is electric. Would love solar over my roof but alas, I live in the woods so it's a no-go.
