Vile. Inarguably vile from the supposed leader of the free world.
Last night, Trump posted a video to his social media platform that contained a racist clip showing Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. It's still up:

It’s weird how the White House can just blame a “staffer” for the racist post as if just any low level flunky can pretend to be the President of the United States at any random time.

As ever, the corruption of the Supreme Court may be the biggest problem in American public life
The testing ground for Bovino’s Operation At Large was Los Angeles. A California judge initially prohibited ICE/CBP’s most flagrant constitutional violations. SCOTUS overruled her 6–3, handing Bovino a blank check to inflict unspeakable brutality on Chicago and Minneapolis. The 6 bear so much blame.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

This has been true for weeks, but today I just have to say it: caring about football nowadays feels ridiculous. You will still see Pats content from me for the same reasons you have been: it’s my job and I hope it provides a distraction.

But above all else, stay safe. Hold your loved ones. Resist.

Never will be normal
Healey: Whether it’s ballrooms, or masked agents, or attacks on Europe and Greenland…This is not normal. It’s not normal to have somebody who acts like a two-year-old throwing a tantrum. On any given day, we don’t know what he’s going to do.

This shouldn’t be normalized. It’s not right.

The thing is, some people can make mistakes, get things wrong, be careless, etc. But that’s not what Jennings did here. Jennings knowingly, purposefully and intentionally lied to utterly distort what was said, which CNN pays him to do every day. CNN is the enabler of this.

Sometimes they just tell us they are weaponizing the criminal justice system to push their political agenda.
Sen. Kevin Cramer: "Maybe the point should be if you're the attorney for Jay Powell and you want to avoid an indictment, how about you go to Jeanine Pirro and say, 'I'll make a deal. I'll step down today if you drop the investigation today.' To me, that would be a win win for everybody."

"However many people thought 'Trump is rich, he must know the economy' in 2016 or 2024, it’s getting harder to find Americans who think that today. His overall approval ended the year in the 30s in some polls, and his numbers on the economy are even worse."
One year in, Trump's economy is a mess
He may have won on a promise to fix everything, but he's only made it worse.
