Yesterday, I turned 40 and got to see my favourite band of all time!

I’ve been listening to Garbage since I was 10 years old and seeing them on a milestone birthday, playing some of the same songs I’ve loved all this time, felt so special. It was an incredible show! ❤️

Sewing pattern makers who use GenAI for the finished garment images should be kicked off of every platform for fraud. If you, as the creator, can’t make the garment and take a photo of it, you shouldn’t be selling the pattern.

"In 1943 the National Museum of Ireland received a turnip lantern from a schoolteacher, Rois Ní Braonáin who was teaching near Fintown, Co. Donegal. She stated that it was the type that was always made in that locality around 1900. This plaster-cast model was created and painted by the museum artist, Eileen Barnes.

Candles were placed inside the turnips and they were used to frighten people on the night of 31 October. My entire personality is going to be Vancouver Fashion Week for the foreseeable future. This show was such a big achievement for me, and I’m overjoyed by how well it went. My designs looked unbelievable out there!!

My school is doing their second-ever Vancouver Fashion Week show this evening, and though I know I wouldn’t have had the time for it this year with graduating and all, I had such an amazing time last year that the FOMO is absolutely crushing today. 🫠

Playing the remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics and let me tell you, being wary of spoilers: you spend so much time stressing about the big Wiegraf battle, you completely forget how ASS the battle on the roof is. 💀 How did I beat this when I was 12??

Like it’s embarrassing to say you sell fabrics for dance costumes and bridal attire but you don’t have one single photo of your actual fabric being used for those garments? AND you have AI pictures of fabric on the same website as your online store? You’re making your business look like a scam.

I was recommended this one local fabric store by my former instructors, but the absolutely egregious use of GenAI on their website (in their LOGO!!) just makes me not want to buy from them. You can’t just… take some photos? Get some customers to share their projects?
