I have no delusions of being a great artist. But I enjoy it. Here are two recent watercolor paintings I did of mountains in my area. The first one is Mount Blanca & Lindsey. The second painting is of the Crestones. Both are in the Sangre de Cristo Range in Southern Colorado. I love living here!
New piece completed. 5x7" in a frame that is 8x10". Frame was refurbished and the inner party repainted in gold. Painted an abstract acrylic design, then adhered a watercolor bird and added a beaded branch. Now I love it!

Baby Ume, our endangered two-month-old tapir calf, is now 130 pounds and growing fast! 💗 She is becoming more brave with her indoor pool, dipping her head underwater and venturing a little deeper. Learning to swim is an important step before Ume can safely enjoy the big outdoor pools.

I just lost my job, along with most of my coworkers, due to the illegal grant freeze.
I worked at an organization that
-helped veterans who have lost a limb
-Assisted elderly and disabled people
-Helped hospitals better treat people who have lost limbs
