Me: I want Democrats who plan to run for president to openly declare their support for full trans rights. This is my one requirement in order for me to consider voting for them.

I don't remember questioning my gender. I knew I was a boy. what I questioned was: how would I let people know when they were so sure I was a girl? could anything be done to make me look more like a boy? and eventually, would I have a better life if I stayed closeted vs transitioned?
Really thinking about how annoying the "questioning their gender" framing is. Kids who are socially transitioning are not questioning their gender. They have questioned it and come to the answer that they're trans

The Ukrainian Skeleton Olympian that was disqualified had an incredible interview on CBC naming all the other Olympians who were allowed to commemorate dead friends on their helmets and his disqualification has taken some of the magic of the games away. It was wrong and awful.

There is not an insignificant amount of 🇨🇦s who think that Alberta’s anti-trans bills have been repealed because Carney lied during the Heated Rivalry press tour. Influencers like Gilmore pumped him up. I hope she thinks about the mixed messages she sends while crying on camera about trans people.

This was a hard one to make — mostly because we shouldn’t even have to talk about this.

Very normal people think I am being insensitive to Tumbler Ridge for being so loud about transphobia right now. What they have neglected to understand is the right wing’s response has been to take $ from 🇺🇸 and wage an anti-trans campaign online. We’re fighting a war you don’t even know is happening.
