Weird statement by Rutte. First, it is obviously wrong. Given time and the necessary investments, Europe can of course defend itself without U.S.
And second: Why undermine European deterrence like that? This message increases the risk that Putin will try to exploit the current fracture in NATO.

Why hasn’t trump invoked the insurrection act already? Cause he knows the courts will DESTROY HIM. Look it up and look at what happened to the POTUS whenever they did it. They got destroyed. He is just trying to scare people. Will he do it? Who knows but just pointing out he hasn’t yet.
