I here abjure; and, when I have required
Some heavenly music,—which even now I do,—
To work mine end upon their senses, that
This airy charm is for, I’ll break my staff,
Bury it certain fathoms in the earth,
And deeper than did ever plummet sound
I’ll drown my book."

Saint Paul schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for optional online learning.

I’ve seen schools close for snow, for pandemic, for natural disaster. I’ve never seen schools close because of threat from our own government.

There was a time in the lives of every person around my age in which Robert Wadlow was one of the, like, ten most famous people in our consciousness. It was Ronald McDonald, the president, Wadlow, the fat twins on the minibikes, and that dude with the super long fingernails. bsky.app/profile/cjze...

Had a good cry this afternoon realizing how many friends who live in far away locations I've lost contact with since Twitter blew up.

I really miss the days of shit posts and threadzillas and such when the world seemed a little less horrible than it does now.
