I think these hardware modified consoles are some of the coolest projects ever. A Wii with custom FW and a PS2 modified into portable form factors, with original (trimmed) motherboard and chips. (Not my pic or hands, obviously)

I think everyone who used to be TeamXbox feels the same way right now. It's been a really long time since it seems like the Xbox brand had a 'win', and even when it wins the other brands win too. I'm afraid of what Satya Nadella will do if this year's Call of Duty doesn't break records...

Which also sucks for me because I grew up a MASSIVE fan of Microsoft as a corporation up until maybe 4 or so years ago. It used to be a dream of mine to work at Microsoft but... ugh. Something happened during/after the COVID years to that company and it seems irreversible.

Xbox has always been my preferred brand behind SEGA (And SNK) but man ... as the kids would say the "Vibes are low". I've cancelled Game Pass and I just.. I don't see a bright future for Xbox. Its almost like they didn't buy ActiBlizz but Activision bought Xbox.

Does anyone else notice the differences in content the Youtube algorithm serves you depending on if youre using the app, browser, phone, or computer?

Also explains why I can't find videos on my computer I want to watch that I saw scrolling on my phone and vice versa.

Basically, every game becomes a steady 60 FPS on High settings on every gaming handheld with minimal input delay. There are a few very demanding games that are "only" 30+FPS with Ray Tracing enabled like Indiana Jones - but still extremely impressive for a handheld.

I don't know if Microsoft is going to eventually build the functionality into Windows 11 Game Mode or if Bazzite/SteamOS is going to beat them to the punch but whoever builds in Lossless Scaling, FSR4 Int8 or any other framegen+scaling first will completely change the game.
