One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!

ICE has shot two white american citizens at point blank range while being filmed. it’s hard to even imagine what atrocities they must be doing to brown people behind closed doors.

People are right to be incensed, but there are more names to uplift. ICE killed an immigrant man named Silverio Villegas González in Chicagoland. He had children. Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in Minneapolis and died in ICE custody on January 14. Their names deserve to be repeated, too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ICE/CBP fled yesterday, and it was all local entities filling the streets with tear gas where MY KID is trying to get an education (MCAD), and then those entities also gave up and left. What was the point? I'm not in favor of NG freeing them up for more of that shit.
