Casval Bidan, human paladin of Helm/Purple Dragon Knight of Cormyr in 3.5. Started in 2009. Campaign fizzled out in 2012-13, but he survived at level 24 with a barony in the Stonelands.
Does anyone else remember their first Dungeons & Dragons character? How long ago did you play them, for how long, and what was their fate?
Mine was a half-elf rogue named Morestal in D&D 3.5e around 2006 or 2007. Only played for 2 or 3 sessions, but he did live!

Sandler not getting an Oscar nom that year is a crime. Uncut Gems is a great and stressful watch. You feel nervous throughout the film and probably for a while after.
Last movie I saw at Cinerama Dome before it closed was Uncut Gems with a Q&A. Some complete normie gets up and asks Sandler, “Why don’t you do more of these serious roles?” Sandler replies: “Nobody asks me.”

It's so damn funny knowing that, despite literally everything, Adam Sandler is one of the greatest living actors we have. He just has these performances in there and they burst out of the ground every 15 years like cicadas.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
