In a competitive field this is easily the stupidest article I have read in the Guardian this week

Why is monogamy in crisis? The animal kingdom could give us some clues | Elle Hunt
As fewer people choose to pair up, let alone marry, it could be that our species’ mating patterns are moving closer to the natural order, says freelance journalist Elle Hunt

You could build a parliament & govt building for less than 5 Billion at Retford 90 minutes train time from London.

The houses of parliament you could sell as a hotel and store for billions.

Net result perhaps 50 billion for taxpayers & NHS.

Restoring the Palace of Westminster could cost ‘eye-watering’ £40bn
New report also suggests renovations may take up to 61 years, as critics say project lacks accountability

This article only makes sense if you believe that being on the right side of politics means having UK political landscape without the Labour Party.
'Labour owes debt to giant of politics in modern era. Mandelson has been on the right side of every important argument in the politics of the left since the 1990s'

Being very careful here.

One thing Ive pondered on:
If you wanted to pay a rich men for "services rendered" you have to make it worthwhile but also *clean*.

What better way than to use charities to transfer money.
Could it be that a lot rich peoples' personal charities are ways to pay & be paid?

One thing missing from the Mandelson debate is how the UK media also washed Mandelson's reputation:

Launched in October 2023, the podcast brings together Peter Mandelson, Daniel Finkelstein, and Polly Mackenzie - with Times Radio chair Matt Chorley.

Everyone knew.

Its times like this you realise that Brexit - for some genuinely a patriotic undertaking - was in effect a chance for American peadophiles to create chaos in order to take advantage of the resulting profit oppotunities.

I quite like the Greens and Polanski seems a good guy.

But this is unforgiveable.
It is cynically designed to mislead. The assumption is that voters are so stupid they will read the voting chart wrong.

Will reconsider voting Green based on this.

Entire London media/political world has known Mandelson has been a immoral corrupt grifter since at least a decade.

Yet for YEARS they continued to employ/flatter him.
Not least BBC & political programs chaired by

People keep posting things like this.

And of course its true.
But....dont be fooled spreading this stuff wont reduce the Reform vote. What will reduce the Reform Vote is if other parties have a positive vision of UK's future.

And none do.
So until we do, prepare for a Reform govt.

"Industry" is such a weird TV series.

Part grotesque, part soap opera with 20% of financial data that makes no sense and would be irrelevant even if it did.

Wonderfully shot and cast though.

Its ridiculous but strangely impressive.

This is like someone announcing they'll be no return to when I had a great job and was happy and successful.

Its all so very strange.
"[Badenoch] also promised there would be no return to the Tory party of 2006, which those of us who can cast our minds back that far remember as a time when the party was resurgent and was leading in the polls." This really is a terrifically arch column by Camilla:
The Tories have forgotten what it takes to prosper

Andrew Schulz is one those curious but quite plentiful phenomen:

A funny guy who has *international* mates, is liberal socially but also flirts with the *manosphere*.
Everyone knew where Trump & his gang were headed, but Andrew wanted to have it both ways.
And now he acts so shocked.

Its pathetic.

Just had some Ambrosia deluxe rice pudding , on offer at Tesco. Cold, straight from the tin, very nice.

Having spent last 2 weeks pushing the Arsenal "crisis" narrative.

Arsenal now strangely find themselves 6 points ahead in the premiership.

So Phil McNulty has changed tack and his latest comment:

'If Arsenal don't win title now the blame will be entirely their own'

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Race for Premier League title: Arsenal sitting pretty as title rivals Man City and Aston Villa stumble
Arsenal will only have themselves to blame if they do not win the title as title rivals stumble in a perfect weekend for The Gunners, says chief football writer Phil McNulty.

One of main contributors to the Real Madrid myth are the 5 European Cups the club won in 1950s.
Spain wasn't the centre of world football & Spain itself a poor rural dictatorship.
But the club took it seriously when many didnt & racked up 5 trophies.

In this context:

ARSENAL are WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

The Spurs Man City match has now reached a stage where there is literally no result possible that would not be incredibly funny for Arsenal fans.

Man Utd v Spurs - 2-1
Spurs v Newcastle - 1-2

Burnley v West Ham - 1-2

If Tottenham lose this game against Man City...

...then whoever wins the Leeds - Forest game on Friday will move above Spurs.

Both Leeds & Forest are supposedly fighting relegation this season.
