We finally got rid of the Tories 🥳 but haven’t got rid of Brexit which is causing untold damage. 🇬🇧 🇦🇪
Yep! Just so very very disappointed. They haven’t got a clue what they are doing! A manhood I’ve majority completely wasted. Don’t think they will get the chance again.
This is where you land when there's little sign of strategy, comms, fighting spirit... any oomph at all.

I was someone who wanted a dose of 'boring' after the May/Johnson/Truss/Sunak years, but I expected boring-but-effective.
My analysis - how did No10 radicalise this cohort of loyal, centrist, careerist Labour MPs who are now all out for regime change?

What a month.
- Passed my qualification
- Got new job
- Met new boyfriend
- got decent rebate from HMRC

Had a bad few years so fingers crossed this is the change!

Happy as a pig in shit

One of the best integration memories I have is my ex boyfriend’s Vietnamese family who fled during the war. The kids named Quan, Tuan, Thang, Richard, Maggie, William, Elizabeth. Guess which ones were born in UK and named after royals, political figures

Incredible amount of China-panic over at the other place, apparently they might be trying to influence the UK away from democracy.

Funnily enough not mentioned is the other superpower whose leaders have explicitly stated their intentions in that direction.

I used to live in Handsworth with my Vietnamese boyfriends family while I was studying my masters. Best pork spring rolls and Pho ever! If that’s not integration I don’t know what is?!

Just not sure, really not sure, that I'd follow Kemi Badenoch as an example of the USA as a country that is protecting human rights without being in the ECHR.

In the long term, this does slightly dilute the 'moral' need for a referendum on rejoining the EU. But I suspect the Right has given up on the long term.
Notable that there has been no mention of a referendum on ECHR exit. Just a mandate via a General Election.

'In the video, an officer can be heard ushering members of the public away from the scene, saying: “If you’re not involved, move back, get away... he has a bomb, go away”.'

But the cop didn't go away. He stayed. Despite the possibility that there was a suicide bomb.

Richard Tice has made up a fake quote from the PM to claim he incited violence against his political opponents.

It was not sufficiently challenged in the Sky News interview that he did not say it, because the interviewer didn't have the text.

On Yom Kippur many Jewish people in Britain have their phones off to mark the holy day.

As it ends at 723pm, some will hear the tragic Manchester news for the first time.

At that time, please join many of us to send a message of solidarity to British Jews. Thanks Together coalition for proposing.

Unfortunately yes. Just checked in on my Jewish family. No shock whatsoever - which is a sad state of affairs
One reflection talking to other Jews today is how unshocking this is.

Numbing, upsetting, scary but not shocking. We all knew it was coming. Given the enormous rise in antisemitic incidents in recent years, it's a surprise it hasn't happened more often.

Business has paid a lot to support decarbonisation and sustainability. Invested tens of billions. Most of it under Tory-led governments. And now the party is saying it was all a waste, and pointless? Just not serious people.

Lord Glasman personally apologising to Nigel Farage on his own GBeebies show for his party leader "making false slurs of racism against him" should be enough reason to kick the brownshirt peer out of the Labour Party, and enough reason to properly implement broadcasting rules
