hey guys check this out
an mspaint drawing of a clock drawn in white on a white background. an mspaint drawing of nothingness. an mspaint drawing of an empty canvas. as faye webster once said: "a white wall may seem empty, but it's ready to be filled and, in its readiness, needs nothing. it stands complete." this is the 151st clock drawn by hand by me in mspaint. i have drawn them daily for five months. i have gone from being unable to even draw a complete circle to being able to draw complex landscape scenes that are fully colored, and i am very proud of that. i tricked myself into doing art for the sake of comedy. i have literally never considered myself a capable artist, but for no more than 2 hours daily on average, here i am! with the cyclical nature of clocks, it feels fitting to end the daily clocks exactly how they began: an open canvas. finishing on new years is the obvious choice, but just as it began abruptly, so too will it end abruptly. i will draw more clocks in time, but for now, i must rest.
